Chris Renouf is Head of Ogier’s Property Law Group in Jersey. He practices all types of property law, with a particular focus on commercial property work.
Chris gained a BA (Honours) Law Degree from the Univeristy of Nottingham in 1976. He qualified as an English Barrister and joined Ogier in 1978. He then requalified as a Jersey Advocate and became a Partner in 1982.
Chris is a member of the Jersey Law Society and the Honourable Society of Inner Temple of England and Wales. He is a topic practitioner for the Jersey Law Commission and was previously a member of the Jersey Legal Information Board working party, which modernised Jersey’s conveyancing practice.
Recognised for his expertise, Chris is the only commercial property lawyer in Jersey to be ranked ’Leading Individual’ in the 2007 edition of The Legal 500.
