Ogier’s Commercial Property team regularly advise on some of the most complex and challenging commercial property matters in Jersey.

We are currently advising on the Esplanade Square and Jardins de la Mer project on the St Helier Waterfront Development, which is the largest single commercial property site to be established in the island consisting of approximately 600,000 sq feet of offices, hotels, retail outlets and car parking for 500 cars requiring extensive legal advice to cover all aspects of the development.

• Advised Sandpiper as a franchisee of Marks and Spencer in respect of its four new leases in Jersey
  
  
• Acted for a pension fund in its £12m acquisition of an office block in La Motte Street, St Helier
  
  
• Acted for the purchaser of two office blocks for £16m and the lease back to a major bank as part of a £600m UK deal

• Acted on the sale of De Gruchy’s department store for £25.6m
  
  
• Acted on the sale of The Grand Hotel, St Helier
  
  
• Acted on the purchase and lease back of the Woolworths store for £6.5m
