Use this calculator if you qualify as a first-time buyer and are purchasing a freehold, flying freehold, or share transfer residential property in Jersey. Check if you are a first time buyer.
As a first-time buyer, you can receive a reduction on the standard rate of Land Transaction Tax (LTT) for properties under £700,000. Enter the total property price above to calculate the Stamp Duty and LTT payable. If your purchase is over £700,000 use the primary residence calculator.
The amount shown in your result includes a £90.00 flat fee plus a percentage rate based on the property price provided. It does not include the additional £20.00 fee for purchases requiring court attendance.

Use this standard rate calculator if you are buying a freehold, flying freehold, or share transfer residential property as a private buyer (not through a company or other legal entity) and the property will be your primary residence. Enter the total property price below to calculate the standard rate Stamp Duty and Land Transaction Tax (LTT) payable.
This standard rate calculator can also be used if you are a property developer who is adding property to your stock.

Buy to let or secondary residence
Use this higher rate calculator if you are buying a freehold, flying freehold, or share transfer residential property as a private buyer (not through a company or other legal entity) and the property will NOT be your primary residence. Enter the total property price below to calculate the higher rate Stamp Duty and Land Transaction Tax (LTT) payable.
